Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman

Neverwhere - Neil Gaiman

This was the first Neil Gaiman book I have read and I'd heard great things about the book and the author. However, the beginning the story did not draw me in and it never did. Finishing it, unfortunately, felt like a chore.

Urban fantasy sounds like a genre I would enjoy but this book's characters weren't memorable, to me. It has none of those traits of a book that can become a classic like other fantasy and science-fiction works. Maybe I'll try reading another Gaiman, but for now I don't want to think about it.
